Prof Wei Zhang
Tianjin University
Bio: Wei Zhang is the University Chair Professor at College of Management and Economics, Tianjin University (TJU). He serves as Director of the Key Lab of Complex Management Systems at TJU, supported by Ministry of Education. He is the current president of CSAMSE. His research interests include financial computing and analytics, digital finance, asset pricing and risk management. He has served as Executive Editor-in-chief for Journal of Management Science and Engineering, Journal of Management Sciences in China (in Chinese). He also sits on several editorial/advisory boards of international & domestic academic journals. He is active in business consulting for big financial players like SSE & CFFEX, and national/regional government agencies, as well as corporations such as Tianjin Port, North Trust Group.
Prof Jinyuan Chang
Southwestern University of Finance and Economics
Bio: Jinyuan Chang is the Guanghua Distinguished Professor of Statistics at Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (SWUFE). He currently serves as Executive Dean of the Institute for Statistics and Interdisciplinary Innovation and Director of the Joint Laboratory for Data Science and Business Intelligence at SWUFE. He is also a Professor of Statistics in the Academy of Mathematics and Systems Science at Chinese Academy of Sciences. Professor Chang has long been dedicated to the field Large-scale Complex Data Analysis. He has served as the Associate Editor for Journal of the American Statistical Association, Journal of the Royal Statistical Society Series B, Journal of Business & Economic Statistics, Journal of Econometrics and Statistica Sinica.
Prof Xitong Guo
Harbin Institute of Technology
Bio: Xitong GUO is a Professor of Information Systems and director of the eHealth Research Institute at the Harbin Institute of Technology. His research focuses on eHealth. His work has been published in MIS Quarterly, Information Systems Research, Production and Operations Management, Journal of Operations Management, Journal of Management Information Systems, and among others.
Prof Sheng Liu
University of Toronto
Bio: Sheng Liu is an Assistant Professor of Operations Management and Statistics at the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto. He joined Rotman after completing his PhD in Operations Research from UC Berkeley in 2019. Sheng's research focuses on solving operations problems in supply chains, transportation, and logistics systems through optimization and data analytics. His industry experience includes consulting or working for organizations such as JD.com, Sport Chek, Ninja Van, Hungerhub, Amazon, and Lyft. His work has been recognized by several awards and paper competitions, including the INFORMS Public Sector Operations Research Best Paper Award, INFORMS TSL Outstanding Paper Award (Freight Transportation and Logistics), and M&SOM Data-Driven Research Competition. He currently serves as an associate editor of Transportation Science and an Editorial Review Board member of Service Science.
Prof Ying Rong
Shanghai Jiao Tong University
Bio: Dr. Ying Rong is a Professor of Management Science at Shanghai Jiao Tong University in China. He received his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from Lehigh University and worked as a post-doc in the University of California at Berkeley and Lehigh University. Dr. Rong's research interests include service operations, retail operations, operations in emerging business models and data-driven optimization. His papers have been published in Management Science, Operations Research, Manufacturing & Service Operations Management, Information Systems Research, Production and Operations Management, Journal of Operations Management, Naval Research Logistics and IIE Transaction, etc.
