As part of the prestigious event, 17^th CSAMSE Annual Conference (CSAMSE 2025), we are delighted to invite submissions for the Best Paper Award, recognizing exceptional contributions advancing the theory and applications in the field of Management Science and Engineering.

Submission Guidelines

1. All submissions must be sent in electronic form using the CSAMSE2025 submission system: https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/CSAMSE2025.

2. Please select your submission category as “Best Paper Award Submission”.

3. There is no specific format requirement for the submission.

4. All submissions should be blinded. You can specify the author information in the submission form.

5. You may suggest up to 5 reviewers in the submission form.

6. Submissions for Best Paper Award will be considered for session presentation automatically (and hence please do NOT submit the same abstract for session presentation).

Topics of Interest

We welcome high-quality research papers addressing cutting-edge topics in management science/operations research, operations and supply chain management, information systems, data science and related interdisciplinary fields.

Originality

Submissions must present original, unpublished work that demonstrates significant theoretical, methodological, or practical contributions.

Format

Papers should follow the INFORMS or POMS template (available on INFORMS website) and not exceed 32 pages, including references, figures, and tables.

Submission Deadline: All submissions must be received by June 5, 2025.

Evaluation Process

Submissions will be rigorously reviewed by five field experts in the first-round based on the following criteria:

l Problem Importance / Interest

l Problem Modeling

l Results (Analytical, Computational, Empirical, etc.)

l Paper Writing

l Relevance to China's Economic Development

Shortlisted papers based on their scores in the first-round will be invited for presentation at the conference, and the final winners will be determined by the combined scores of the first-round evaluation and by the on-site judgers.

Award Details

The Best Paper Award winners (including a first prize, a second prize and two third prizes) will receive a certificate of recognition, a cash prize (possible), and an opportunity to present their work in a dedicated plenary session at the conference.
